Indicator Levels & Colors
Indicator levels vary from 0 (neutral) to 10 (very strong, extreme) both positive and negative.
Indicator colors are typically blue for bullish, up, and support and red for bearish, down and resistance.
Levels of 9-10 occur 5% of the time or only 1-2 times every 6 months and represent extreme levels that can seldom be held for any amount of time.
Levels of 7-8 (strong, very strong) occur approximately 25% of the time.

Trading Time Horizon
The StockConsultant tool targets swing and momentum traders with short term trading horizons from 3 days (for breakout/downs) up to 6 weeks long.
The indicators are also more consistent and provide the most accuracy on lower volatility stocks with typical short term rallies less than 35% and average daily volume greater than 100k shares.

My Links
A way to bookmark frequently accessed web pages like brokerage, banking, news, weather and other web sites for easy access from the Consultant tool.
The "My Links" section is located under the Stocks.com market quotes.
The top two link positions open separate permanent windows and should be use for brokerage and banking type links. The other three positions share a common window and are good for news and weather type links.
Click on "SET" to add a link and site description to be displayed under the "My Links" section.

Stock Lists
There are six stock lists which can each hold up to 100 stocks each. For members these lists are saved on the server and can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet.
To save stocks to a list first choose a list from the pull down labeled "List:" (just below the "Enter Symbol" section). Once a list is selected one can add or remove stocks by clicking on the "Edit" link. You can also add or remove stock using the "Add Sym" or "Remove Sym" link that appears in that section.
"Indexes", "Leaders", "Sectors", "DJ30" and "QQQ" links are specialized stock lists that can be accessed by clicking on the links in the same section.
The "Indexes" link contains a list of the popular indexes such as NASDAQ, DJ-30, DJ-15, and others.
The "Leaders" link contains a list of the most active 30 stocks from the NASDAQ and NYSE markets (approx. 15 from each)
The "Sectors" link contains custom sector stock lists from "Airlines" to "Storage".
The "DJ30" link contains a list of the Dow Jones 30 stocks
The "QQQ" link contains a list of the top 30 stocks in size from the QQQ index.

Using keyboard keys to navigate
Special keyboard keys can be used to navigate stock lists and to quickly view the 6 month stock chart.
When accessing a list of stocks one can navigate from one selected stock to the next by using the keyboard key "]" or key "[" for the previous stock.
To quickly scroll down to the 6 month chart and back use the "\" key.
These keys are next to each other on the keyboard allowing quick and easy navigation.
